The Relational Language Quiz (RLQ) shows how you give and receive love through five Relational Languages: Emotional Attunement, Romance & Reliability, Appreciation & Respect, Companionship & Friendship, and Secure Autonomy.
The RLQ was created by Darly Sebastian, LPC, and is built on her Balanced Feminine and Masculine framework. It draws on years of counseling experience with individuals and couples, Jungian theory, and what we know about how people bond. More than 450 people have taken it.
Each question asks you to choose between two options. This forced-choice format shows what matters more to you when you can’t have both. Each pairing appears several times in different situations, so your result reflects a consistent pattern, not a single answer.
The RLQ is a clinically informed self-reflection tool. It is not a diagnostic test or a research-validated assessment. It’s designed to build self-awareness and start meaningful conversations about love and connection.
